The Golf

Improvements made to the golf course a couple of years ago (improved drainage) and being the only 27-hole golf course in the region, make the Château des Forges Golf Club playable 12 months of the year. Set in a peaceful setting with the feel of space and natural beauty, you can play on three exquisite nine-hole courses, each being some 3,200 meters long. With pars of 36, 37, and 36 and scratch scores standard of 37.2 per nine holes. Permanent green-keeping staff ensure that the course is maintained in perfect condition all year round.

Facilities

Also included in the rental is use of the large terrace, two tennis courts and the large outdoor swimming pool.
Why not relax in the chateau conservatory lounge, or maybe a game of snooker on the full size snooker table.

Holiday Apartment

The Chateau is elegant and very secluded, located in the beautiful Deux Sevres Region of western France with around 2,600 sunshine hours per year - second only to the Mediterranean. It is split into 25 apartments, 12 within the Chateau and 13 in various outbuildings. The apartments are all privately owned,

Sitting in very private grounds of 8 Hectares, all of which is available to clients.Also included in the rental is use of the terrace, 2 tennis courts, and full size snooker table set in a large communal conservatory.

The apartments are 4Kms. from a charming village of Valses with small supermarket, chemist, doctor, baker and restaurant/bar.

Heating and hot water use is included in the rental price of the apartment. On site is a washing machine and dryer payable locally.

This apartment comes fully furnished with one master bedroom, a mezzanine bedroom, petite kitchen/diner, luxury bathroom and open plan sitting room overlooking the large outdoor swimming pool.

Prices start from €450.00 per week. Rentals normally run from Friday/Friday. Guests will be able to access their accommodation from 14.00hrs, and be expected to vacate their accommodation before at 09.30hrs. on the day of their departure.

The apartment will be fully cleaned before arrival and will have clean linen and towels supplied. If extra cleaning is required during your stay, an extra charge of €50.00 will apply. This also includes fresh linen and towels. Private parking is included.
